SMH Grower's Market

Celebrity chef Pete Evans joins us this Saturday, March 6 for the launch of Market Chef - our new chef's stage featuring seasonal produce sourced direct from our stallholders.

He'll be demonstrating recipes from his latest book, My Grill, at 8.30 and 9.30 am so come and join us. Lots of shopping possibilities will be available too of course - including free-range eggs, farm-fresh milk and cheeses, organic meats and poultry, glorious sourdoughs and pastries, herbs, fruit and vegetables and much more besides.

The Sydney Morning Herald Growers' Market is held on the first Saturday of every month at Pyrmont Bay Park on Pirrama Road, from 7 am to 11 am.

There is parking available at Star City at a discount rate. Just get your ticket stamped at the Sydney Morning Herald information stall.

There are around 80 stalls offering everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to lamb, beef, pork and seafood.

Enjoy coffee from one of our suppliers with a cooked breakfast - sausages, bacon and eggs, pastries or freshly baked bread with a selection of cheese or smallgoods, and your copy of the weekend Herald.

For stallholder inquiries, contact growersmarket@smh.com.au or phone Katie Jervis on 9282 3148.

The market operates rain, hail or shine but is closed in January.
