Stallholder Expression of Interest

The Night Noodle Market is one of the most popular events of the Crave Sydney International Food Festival, presented by Citibank. Held in Hyde Park North, this authentic Asian hawker-style market draws more than 100,000 people over ten nights and showcases Sydney’s culinary and cultural diversity.

We aim to feature Asian entertainment, cooking demonstrations and approx. 40 Asian themed stalls representing a range of different, authentic Asian cuisines.

This year's event will be held for 10 nights over 2 weeks (October 18 - 22 and 25 - 29) from 5pm to 9.30pm. There is a possibility that the event will extend to include Saturday October 23 and Sunday October 24 but this is still to be confirmed.


All stallholder expressions of interest are reviewed and subject to approval by the Festival team. Please keep in mind the following criteria for selection;

1)    We suggest you keep your menu simple, authentically Asian and serve 2 dishes only.
2)    We require your commitment to every day of the event.
3)    You must provide the appropriate number of service staff for the event.
4)    All stallholders must hold adequate public liability insurance and provide a certificate of proof of insurance.
5)    Stallholders will be required to submit a City of Sydney Registration, NSW Temporary Food Event Notification form and sign a Fairfax stallholder and catering requirement agreement.

The Night Noodle Market is environmentally friendly. Stallholders are required to purchase Biopak plates, cups, serving containers and cutlery.
