Eats B4 Riverbeats

Eats B4 Riverbeats is a new and exciting addition to the hugely popular annual Riverbeats event, providing a pre-event dining experience in Parramatta’s premier food precinct “Eat Street”, highlighting Sydney’s amazing food culture.

Eats B4 Riverbeats will see an influential line up of local and celebrity chefs, restaurateurs and foodies converge on Church Street to taste, talk, watch, learn, dine, and indulge. Church Street will be transformed into a vibrant alfresco dining experience.

Cooking demonstration program on the main stage from 4:30-6:30 hosted by 702 ABC Sydney’s Weekend radio presenter Simon Marnie

The “story behind the plate” theme will be demonstrated live on the main stage with cooking demonstrations from TV chef “Fast” Ed Halmagyi, from Network 7’s Logie Award winning Better Homes & Gardens. Special tastings and meet and greet will also take place.
Local head chefs from the Meat & Wine Co., The Bite, Courtney’s Brasserie & Fine Food King will also demonstrate the making of some of their signature dishes live on stage with some tastings.

Plus Kids food workshops, Fruit & Vegetable carving demonstrations, Roving entertainment, Live blues entertainment provided by Grant Walmsley & The Agents of Peace, formerly songwriter/guitarist of the legendary Screaming Jets and Country & Western performances by the talented Stephanie Jansen.

The Chalk Art Festival is also on Church Street, with Chalk Snake activities for the little ones

Food lovers can treat their tastebuds with a selection of local restaurants offering tastings for $4 or a Riverbeats Box to take down by the river for $10, of their best signature dishes
